Finding Autumn by Beth Michele- Review!

Finding Autumn (Finding Love, #1)Finding Autumn by Beth Michele
My rating: 3.5 of 5 stars

Olivia is a writer of erotic romance novels who writes under the pen name Autumn Winters. Her real erotic and romantic life is not even close to the lives of those she writes about, but she would like it to be. One year ago, Olivia was hurt pretty badly by finding her fiance in bed with another woman. That situation caused her to not trust her own judgment since she never saw that coming, and also not trust others easily. She meets Hunter at the train station on the way to a writers' conference. Their strong attraction to one another coupled with Olivia's desire to live out some of her erotic fantasies and see some non-battery-operated action help things move along quickly.

Olivia and Hunter quickly find that in addition to their incredible sexual chemistry, they seem to connect emotionally as well. They are both withholding information from one another for different reasons. Olivia met him under her pen name, so he only knows her as Autumn. And Hunter is keeping his wealth and true employment under wraps so that there is a chance that "Autumn" will like him for who he is and not his money and status like so many others.

There is a pretty high level of implausibility here, but if you just let that all go and enjoy, there is a lot to enjoy here. This is a quick read, but there is enough time to get to know and care about the characters and what happens to them. The sexy stuff is way sexy and the dirty talk was delightful. I enjoyed this and will gladly read more by this author in the future.
