Chaira is a woman who has given up most of the past decade living as a high priced escort in order to support herself, and her mentally ill sister. She is six months away from fulfilling her contract and after that she is free to live as she wants and love who she wants. Torin is a mixed martial artist who is seeking his last chance at a UFC championship. He's come close, but this has to be his year. He is getting older and is right now at his peak physical condition. Torin meets Chiara at at a party in Las Veags that she has been hired to host. They are quickly attracted to one another, and Chiara does something she isn't allowed to do and has never had a desire to do. Participate in a sexual and personal relationship that is not a business transaction.

Both Chaira and Torin have a whole lot of struggle and tragedy in their pasts. They have both been put in positions where they had to make questionable and difficult choices. One of the things I liked about them was that they both incredibly thoughtful and accountable about their own choices and the choices of each other. Their sexual chemistry was fantastic and it was great to see Chaira getting to experience something for herself. In addition to the personal struggles they face, there are some serious issues that arise as Chiara violates the agreement with her boss about not having any personal relationships. Torin is also forced to face consequences of his past and of involving himself with Chaira "without paying".

This is an exciting and sexy story and I was really hoping that Torin and Chiara would be able to see their way through all the obstacles in their way.
