In the beginning, Annabelle is a teenager crashing a Hollywood party in an attempt to find and lose her virginity to her favorite movie star, Cal Hammond. Annabelle does run into Cal, and they do share an intense moment, but the night ends in a way that changes the lives of many. Eight years later, Cal is serving time in prison and is known as Beast. He runs things from within, and things are going fairly smooth until the warden decides to steal from him. He is about to end the warden's life when his daughter, Annabelle comes to see him and Beast decides that he will take his payment from her instead.

This is a serial, so be prepared to be left hanging with a need to find the next installment quickly when finished. In this first installment, we get to know Annabelle mostly as a teen, but we do know about some challenges she has faced as an adult. Despite the aggression and chaos of the situation she now finds herself in a complicated situation with a man who she once lusted after, and still lusts after but now also fears. I would definitely like to see how this story continues...
