The Edge of Always by J.A. Redmerski
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
The Edge of Always picks up right where we are left in The Edge of Never, and this book completes this series. The incredible journey of the past five months has brought Andrew and Camryn together and ready to commit their lives to one another. They have already been through some serious challenges, but are happier than they have ever been. An unexpected tragedy causes upheaval in their lives and they need to find a way to heal and get back to where they need to be. Andrew comes up with a plan that will hopefully bring their lives back on track and help them move forward.
I love Andrew and Camryn as much I did at the end of The Edge of Never. It felt great to reconnect with them and see which paths they choose as they get older and the dynamic of their lives changes. I love a book that can get me feeling along with the characters, and there was no problem experiencing a wide range of emotions with this one. There are some parts of this book that elicit some uncomfortable feelings, but I think experiencing the ups and downs along with these characters gives an authentic feel to the story. Andrew and Camryn are seeking a life that is unconventional, and would probably be challenging for many of us to follow in real life. I really enjoyed being able to follow life along a different path with them.
Through everything, the chemistry between Andrew and Camryn stayed strong and intense. The way they love and support one another is something to be envied and a joy to read. This book concludes the story of these two (for the most part), and I found it all very satisfying. I would highly recommend this two book series to any reader. 4.5 stars!
