Kindergarten teacher Rachel Parks is stood up by her dinner date, and on her way out is caught in an embrace by swoon worthy actor Miles Stevenson who asks her to rescue him and join him for dinner. Rachel decides not to pass up this once in a lifetime event, and stays. Rachel and Miles quickly realize that they have a lot of physical chemistry and get along really well. Their lives are very different, but the more time the spend together the more they realize they need to try and see where their relationship can go.
This is a quick read, and a lovely fantasy. Both main characters are very easy to like. Both Rachel and Miles are kind, humorous, and genuine. They both deal with the villain in a way that does not bring them down to her level. The dialogue is a little unnatural and formal at times, and problems seem to easily disappear in the face of goodness and the right decisions. I enjoyed Rachel's sense of humor and the way she and her friend interacted with and supported one another. If you are looking for a nice sexy story with a classic romance feel to it, this could be right up your alley.
