ReplyDeleteSo many favorites! Impossible to pick just one, of course. However, since Simon Jones is another Simon who absolutely ROCKS as a narrator, and I love Jonathan Stroud's Bartimaeus books, I'll toss in "The Amulet of Samarkand," Book 1 of that series. (P.S. I hope I win "The Elephant Whisperer"! Or is it already too late?!)

DeleteI really am enjoying And the Mountains Echoed by Khaled Hosseini. He reads his own books and I think he does a great job.

ReplyDeleteI haven't listened to this yet, but I'm thinking it is a safe bet. He's hilarious and I'm guessing he does a great job narrating his own book.
DeleteSo many! It's hard to choose just one! I'll go with His Forbidden Touch by Shelly Thacker. It is an historical romance, beautifully written and narrated.
