My Review:
Point of Freedom (Nordic Lords MC, #3)Point of Freedom by Stacey Lynn
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Jules lost the love of her life shortly after finding out she was pregnant. She left town and didn't return until two years later when a friend needed her and she needed to escape an abusive relationship. Jaden has always blamed Jules for his brother's death and has made his hatred clear to her the past years. Now that Jules is back in town she wants Jaden to have a relationship with his niece, but it is difficult to be around him in the face of his hatred. While Jaden tells himself he hates Jules, he also knows that he has wanted her since before she and his brother got together, but he stepped aside when she and his brother got together. Grief and loss mixed with sexual tension make everything difficult, but it becomes harder and harder to keep denying what both Jaden and Jules want badly.

This book picks up right where we are left after Point of Redemption. This is the third book in the series, and I've been excited to get to know more about Jules and Jaden. I wasn't disappointed. Jules is an easy character to connect to and cheer on throughout the story. Jaden is definitely prickly and rough, but the more he is able to deal with his own grief and acknowledge his feelings for Jules, he becomes a little softer. Through it all he is definitely sexy and the chemistry between Jules and Jaden is very hot. We are dealing with a Motorcycle Club here, so most of these guys are pretty crass, rough, and violent in their lines of work. They are also, however, loyal to each other and good to their women. I've enjoyed this series a lot and will gladly continue as more are released.

Teaser

“I would have given it to you last night. Anything you wanted, you turned those lying innocent eyes on me and I would have fucked you so hard you’d forget all about Scratch.” “That’s…” I swallowed and his lips grazed the hollow of my throat. “That’s an asshole thing to say, Jaden.” “I know.” He pulled away, our noses almost touching, our harsh breathing mingling together. “Good thing in the light of day I remember what a selfish, lying killer you are, isn’t it?”

About the Author

Stacey Lynn Amazon Bestselling Author of the Just One Song series, Don't Lie to Me, Remembering Us and the Nordic Lords MC series. I am a wife, a mom, and a writer. I can often be found curled up on the couch with a good book, or obsessively eating Skittles in a very complicated and organized manner. No joke.
