Kiera and Kona have re-connected and are ready to be the family they should have been all along. They go to Hawaii to be with Kona's family while the wedding is planned and executed. Kona's fame, the paparazzi, and a sneaky wedding planner are really making the days leading up to the wedding stressful for Kiera. Kona and Ransom are off participating in local football events, and Kona is also busy being put on a pedestal by his local fans. Kiera and Kona's love for one another remains fierce, but these days before the wedding seem to be pulling them apart and are causing Kiera to question whether she will ever be able to fit into Kona's world.
Kiera and Kona have definitely faced their share of relationship drama over the years. Just when it seems that they have fought against the external forces keeping them apart and found their way back to each other, things get tough again. It is clear that there is a lot of love in this family. Kona and Ransom have bonded and Ransom has completely accepted Kona as his father. Kiera and Kona are clearly in love as well and thrilled to be connecting their lives permanently. It is tough to see how because of Kona's talent and fame, there will be a big part of his life that is always be challenging for Kiera who doesn't want to be in the public eye. I was definitely feeling nervous for a while that life would find a way to challenge their relationship beyond repair. It was nice getting to spend time with these characters again, after Thin Love, and see what their lives look like now. I enjoy this author a lot and will definitely be reading more of her books in the future.

“Kiss me, baby. Kiss me like you mean it.” And Keira obliged, tugging at the back of Kona’s hair, taking in his tongue, loving the small bites he made against her bottom lip. “Shit. No, I don’t wanna come yet.” And then he slipped out of her, moved down her body until he was between her legs, using his thumbs to push apart her lips. “I love the way you taste, Wildcat. So sweet, so tangy.” He licked up her folds, lapping all the moisture their bodies had created before he took her clit between his teeth, nibbling, licking until Keira thought she might die from the sensation Kona worked in her. “This is mine, isn’t it, baby? All this,” he said, fingering her suddenly, not preparing her so that the shock and the pressure of his touch left Keira shuddering. “These perfect lips, this pretty pussy, it’s all for me, right baby?”
“Yes. Oh God, Kona, only yours.”
He climbed over her, dragging those hard, delicious muscles up her torso, rubbing himself against her sensitive nipples before he grabbed her face, making her look at him. “And this…” a twist of his hips and Kona slammed back into her, thrusts deep, penetrating, “this is yours. This is only yours.” Another deep thrust and Kona groaned, echoed the satisfied noise Keira made when he hit her G-spot. “I…I gave you this a long time ago, baby.” And then Kona worked faster, lifted on his hands, massive biceps and triceps shaking as moved his hips, filled her, eyes closed and that severe expression, the one that looked like hunger and pain and pleasure that was almost overwhelming, returned to his face. “All yours, baby. I’ve always been yours.”
